Making progress on the new album which I'm very excited about! It's going to be sort of a cross between Donald Fagan and John Scofield but more acid jazzy! I'm also producing on a brand new ProTools system which has greatly expanded the sonic quality and creative possibilities! BTW, if you haven't yet, I'd love to be your friend on Facebook if you're a fan of my music. I'm at http://www.facebook.com/jpearlman3

Moving on to the next project. I'm moving up to Pro Tools...very exciting. This will do 2 things: free me up to experiment more with no restrictions and create compatibility with other musicians for file sharing. Maybe the next CD won't take 4 years to create.

"WELCOME TO THE FUTURE", THE MUSIC VIDEO, IS NOW UP ON THE VIDEO PAGE! It's a rather ethereal song/video, full of futuristic imagery. Hope you like it! Also, FREE downloads available on music page of songs that didn't make it to CD. Enjoy!

FINALLY...mastering is complete and duplication is pending. The two, new albums, "Samurai Werewolves From Mars" and "Welcome To The Future" are the product of well over 3 years of work. The 9th and 10th release for AMC spanning a period of over 15 years, these albums are masterworks, each a classic in it's own right. 'Welcome To The Future' is a rock, blues, funk, acoustic, cross-genre offering, with something for everyone, and features vocals. 'Samurai Werewolves From Mars' is a straight-up, modern/traditional jazz offering and is mostly instrumental. There are lots of special guests on both albums like Stephaniesid, Jonathan Scales, Peggy Ratusz, Frank Southecorvo, Matthew Richmond and Bill Gerhardt. Individual downloads or full-length CD's will be available for purchase through this website and also through CD Baby, as well as iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, and numerous other digital distributors.

We're getting closer to finalizing mixes on the new CD's and they're sounding great! The next step will be mastering, so hopefully a release date will be sometime in June with any luck. Thanks for your patience. In the meantime, I have to say that I feel extremely fortunate to play on a regular basis with some of the finest musicians on the planet, here in my hometown of Asheville, NC. Go to http://www.myspace.com/alienmusicclub for a listing of upcoming gigs and stop by Tressa's on Broadway in downtown Asheville any Tuesday to see the Chuck Lichtenberger Collective featuring Chuck on keys, Joey K on the drums, Michael Libramento on bass, Justin Watt on trumpet, Jacob Rodriguez sax, and me on guitar!
