Winter 2024/2025 Update

As we all struggle with reality in the wake of Hurricane Helene, one thing is clear. We are the ones ultimately responsible for the rebirth and rebuilding of our community. Our musical community is a large part of that. With this in mind, here are some upcoming gigs. Please try to get out and support local musicians and venues. They need it now more than ever!

11/30/24 - Peggy Ratusz Trio with Kelly Jones and me at The Purple Onion in Saluda - 8pm

12/1/24 - Paul Simon Tribute at the Grey Eagle featuring Jonathan Lloyd’s Mashup Band! Peggy Ratusz and I open the show with some choice Simon & Garfunkel tunes! Not to be missed! 6:30pm

12/2/24 - The Alien Music Club Jazz Jam at Turgua Brewing in Fairview - 6 to 8pm

12/5/24 - “The Doors: Unhinged” at The Grey Eagle featuring Reggie Headen with an intoxicating, genre-blending sound, provocative and uncompromising songs, and the mesmerizing power of the charismatic and electrifying Reggie Headen; with JP (guitars), Taylor Pierson (keyboards), Zack Page (bass) and Jay Hoots (drums) - 8pm

12/6/24 - Peggy Ratusz Jazz Trio at Trailside Brewing in Hendersonville as part of Harry Jacobson’s “Jazz Night at the Grove” 873 Lennox Park Dr. - 6 to 9p

12/8/24 - Alien Music Club “And Now For Something Completely Different!” at White Horse Black Mountain! Expect quirky, unusual, original material; jazz, rockabilly, funk, punk and general weirdness with lots of fun cover tunes. The band features JP (guitar/vocals), Chuck Lichtenberger (piano/vocals), Alex Travers (violin/guitar), Ryan Kijanka (bass) and Jaron Pearlman (drums/vocals) - 7:30pm
